Who even are you?

I’m Emma, nice to meet you! I am a professional creative with a love of graphic design, science, and food!

I have worked in graphic design for over ten years, including nine years in science communications. During that time, I developed a curiosity for science and a passion for food, and I eventually decided to embark on a new direction in my career. Now I am studying Nutrition & Dietetics!

What is this website?

This is a multi-function website — designed to showcase my portfolio of creative and sci-comms work, as well as to give folks a look into my thought process and personality with my blog.

Why not just make a simple portfolio site?

As I have been navigating the job market, I have been feeling that just showing my work isn’t enough. I think it’s only fair to give more of an insight into who I am, what I have learned on my professional journey so far, and how I plan to grow. That way folks can get a better idea as to how I would fit in their work environment.

Alrighty. How do you plan to balance school and work?

I’m looking for part-time work that I can balance with my school schedule — local, remote, or freelance.
