I modified some of the lettering and ligatures within the Decondor font to create a unique type treatment.

Brand Fonts

Decondor, by Alit Design, is modified and used for the brand logo and header copy. Its classy serif combined with its whimsically varied stem widths fit the tone of my brand, and its exquisite ligatures and extras made it ideal for creating custom type treatments. Poppins, by Jonny Pinhorn and Ninad Kale, is a beautifully clean sans serif font, perfect for subheads and body copy. Poppins' clean lines help to ground Decondor's fantastical air, forming an ideal typographic pairing.

Typographic Hierarchy

Purple elicits themes of creativity, imagination, inspiration, and enlightenment — all of which I have been carrying with me into this new stage of my life. Purple is also reflected in some of my favorite desert flora. When putting together my color palette, I drew inspiration from the desert home where I was raised and have been lucky enough to return to.

Grids are widely used in mathematical equations, scientific research, logo design, website wireframe planning, meal plan page layouts, and more. They also evoke themes of preparation, professionalism, and growth, making a grid pattern the perfect choice to add visual interest and dynamic movement to my brand.
